About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Pharmacy Assistant. You will gain hands-on experience supporting the daily operations of a pharmacy, assisting customers, and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure a safe and efficient service. The role involves completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided. Key duties include serving customers at the medicines counter, responding to queries, assisting with prescription preparation and supply under supervision, managing stock and deliveries, using pharmacy systems, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in healthcare, strong communication and customer service skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. No prior pharmacy experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be given.
