About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes in a busy warehouse environment with Carlisle Construction Materials Ltd. You'll gain hands-on experience in a variety of essential warehouse operations, from receiving and storing goods to dispatching them efficiently. The program emphasizes understanding the full supply chain of CCM Europe, with a focus on UK operations, warehousing, and logistics. You will also learn about the Made to Measure process and gain proficiency in using SAP for material transactions. A key part of this role involves becoming licensed and skilled in operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklift trucks. You'll also learn about customer service and be introduced to the Carlisle Operating System framework, focusing on health and safety, performance measurement, maintaining high standards, problem-solving, and waste observation. The apprenticeship includes undertaking relevant qualifications through West Notts College, with a blended learning approach combining college attendance and on-the-job training.
