About the role

Ye Olde Windsor Castle is seeking an Apprentice Chef to join their team in Little Bookham. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a historic and popular country pub. As an Apprentice Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to high standards, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety, and communicating effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of quality meals. You will also stay updated on new products, menus, and promotions.

The apprenticeship involves work-based training with a Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks, including face-to-face sessions and remote calls. You will also have a dedicated mentor in the workplace. The program includes obtaining Functional Skills in English and maths if GCSEs or equivalents are not already held. Regular reviews will be held with the apprentice, line manager, and learner coach. Alongside working full-time, you will join the unique Chef Academy.
