Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This is an ideal apprenticeship for individuals with existing experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education. The role involves providing excellent activities that foster learning and fun for children, supporting their development through planning and observations, and preparing and maintaining the nursery environment and resources. Key duties include preparing meals, assisting children with self-help needs, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm, adhering to safeguarding rules, and undertaking necessary training such as First Aid. Successful completion leads to a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, with potential for permanent employment and further career progression into roles like social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, alongside initiative, creativity, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude.
