About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. Key duties include supporting customers at the medicines counter, assisting with prescription preparation and supply (under supervision), handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records, using pharmacy systems, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality. We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in healthcare and working with people, strong communication and customer service skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Basic IT skills are also required. No previous pharmacy experience is necessary as full training is provided.
