About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education. The role involves providing engaging activities to support children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, and assisting with children's self-help needs. Successful candidates will follow safeguarding rules, undertake first aid training, and adhere to all health and hygiene requirements. Upon completion, you will be a qualified Level 3 practitioner with potential for permanent employment and opportunities for career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential.
