Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship at Clarendon Nursery is designed for individuals with some prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years. The role involves providing excellent activities that promote learning and fun, supporting children's development through planning and observations, and preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources. The apprentice will also be involved in food preparation for children, supporting their self-help needs, and ensuring all health, hygiene, and safeguarding rules are followed. The apprenticeship includes training in Paediatric First Aid and any other necessary qualifications to meet current standards and legal requirements. Upon successful completion, apprentices will qualify as a Level 3 practitioner, with potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English at grade 4 and GCSE Maths at grade 4. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and team working skills are essential, along with creativity, initiative, patience, and a non-judgemental approach.
