About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing excellent activities that ensure children learn while having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting children's self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, undertaking First Aid training, and ensuring all Health and Hygiene requirements are adhered to. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position. There is also potential to move into other childcare-oriented roles such as social work, teaching, or managerial roles.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience.
