As an Apprentice Chef with Core Hotels, your passion for all things food, and the desire to make the perfect dish every time, is what sets you apart. With a keen eye for maintaining the highest standards and thriving during a fast-paced service, you'll soon become an invaluable member of the kitchen team. This apprenticeship includes preparing, cooking, and presenting food, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, communicating effectively with the team, and keeping up-to-date with new products and menus. You will also benefit from various discounts, employee assistance programs, and potential referral bonuses. The apprenticeship is delivered through work-based training with a Lifetime Learner Coach and a workplace mentor. You will obtain Functional Skills in English and maths if needed and have regular reviews. The training also includes joining the Chef Academy for masterclasses in different cooking areas. The Bear Hotel is a historic inn located in Hungerford, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
