About the role
As an Apprentice Chef with Community Pubs, you will prepare, cook, and present food that meets specifications and customer expectations. You will maintain high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, communicate effectively with your team to deliver quality meals on time, and stay updated on new products and menus. This apprenticeship is delivered through work-based training with a Lifetime Learner Coach and an in-workplace mentor. You will also gain Functional Skills in English and Maths if required. Alongside your apprenticeship, you will join the Chef Academy, attending masterclasses to develop expert knowledge and technical skills in different areas of cooking.
