About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Chef at Anchor Hotel (Horsham), managed by Urban. As an Apprentice Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to meet specifications and customer expectations. You will also maintain high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, communicate effectively with your team to ensure timely meal delivery, and stay updated on new products and menus. The apprenticeship includes work-based training with face-to-face sessions and remote calls with a Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks, plus a workplace mentor. You will gain Functional Skills in English and maths if needed and participate in regular reviews. The role also includes access to a Chef Academy with four masterclasses in expert cooking techniques.
