About the role
This Accounts Apprenticeship offers an entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience, develop key industry skills, and build a strong foundation for your professional future in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role involves daily reconciliation of bank accounts, supplier statements, and credit cards, processing supplier invoices, raising payments, and chasing outstanding items. You will also support the preparation of monthly management accounts, year-end accounts, and VAT returns, manage financial records using Xero, and maintain the product cost file. The apprenticeship includes assisting with stock counts, providing ad hoc financial support, handling inbound inquiries, processing customer orders, and supporting decisions related to customer credit limits. General office duties, including processing online orders, are also part of the role. This is a structured AAT Apprenticeship programme at Level 3, delivered through a blend of classroom and online training, leading to a well-recognised accountancy qualification.
