About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Apprentice to join the finance team at COURTEENHALL FARMS T/A COURTEENHALL ESTATES. You will be supporting the entire business by ensuring suppliers are paid on time and financial information is up to date and accurate. The main activities of the business include arable farming, livestock, renewable energy, and commercial and residential property letting. The role involves maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, inputting payments and receipts, reconciling credit cards, assisting with payment preparation, and data input to the farm stock database. You will also handle inter-organisational recharging, sorting post, document flow maintenance, filing, archiving, telephone and reception cover, and petty cash management. Utility account administration and ad-hoc finance and administration duties are also part of the role. The ideal candidate will have a good pass in GCSE Maths (grade 6 or above), high attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn and problem-solve. A car driver is preferable, but not essential if you live locally.
