About the role
Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support students with additional needs across all age ranges. This role involves liaising with staff and external agencies, delivering literacy and numeracy interventions, and promoting students' social and emotional development. The apprentice will work collaboratively with teaching staff, support the SENCO, and develop intervention strategies. Key responsibilities include supporting student engagement, aiding teaching staff, planning one-to-one or small group interventions, and monitoring student progress. The successful candidate will gain a nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and develop the skills to support teaching and learning in a school setting.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above.
