About the role
Join the kitchen team at The Victoria Inn and earn while you learn as a Level 2 Commis Chef Apprentice. Working alongside experienced chefs, you'll develop practical cooking, food preparation and kitchen operations skills. You will attend Truro College one day a week to support your training and future career progression. Duties include preparing and presenting food, learning knife skills and cooking techniques, helping serve food, following food safety procedures, and keeping work areas clean. You will also assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and waste reduction. This role offers the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship and valuable experience in a professional kitchen.
