About the role
Join The Pie House at Cinderhill Farm as a Food Production Apprentice. This hands-on role involves preparing ingredients, frying and assembling products, adhering to food safety standards, and supporting the production team. You will gain practical experience in making sausage rolls, pastries, and other products, working with ovens, managing stock, and contributing to production plans. The apprenticeship includes regular check-ins with a trainer, on-the-job and off-the-job training, progress reviews, and the opportunity to obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths if required. Upon completion of this 15-month apprenticeship, you will have a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard qualification. The role requires you to be on your feet for much of your shift, complete manual tasks, and work around production equipment while adhering to strict hygiene and PPE rules. Successful candidates must be able to travel reliably to the site. There is potential for career progression into senior production, team-leading, or specialist roles as the business grows.
