About the role

Join TAB LANDSCAPES SOUTHERN LTD as a Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Apprentice. This role focuses on assisting in garden creation from plan to completion, involving hard and soft landscaping works with an emphasis on good horticultural practice. You will gain experience in paving, brickwork, timber and metalwork construction, groundworks and drainage. Soft landscaping skills will include hedge cutting, soil preparation, grass cutting, planting, shrub pruning, and border maintenance.

This is a physically demanding role requiring outdoor work in all weathers. A full driving license and own transport are essential for insurance purposes. The apprenticeship offers day release training at Sparsholt College. Upon successful completion, a permanent position may be offered.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English: C (4) or above; GCSE Maths: C (4) or above; Full Driving License. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and number skills are required, along with being logical, a team player, creative, physically fit, and having a can-do attitude and an interest in landscaping.
