About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career.
Duties include: Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun, supporting children’s learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food for children, supporting children’s self-help needs, and following safeguarding rules. You will also undertake first aid training and ensure all health and hygiene requirements are adhered to.
Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position. There is also potential for progression into other childcare-orientated roles, such as social work, teaching, or managerial roles.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Grade 4/C, GCSE Maths Grade 4/C. Strong communication, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are essential.
