About the role

This Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with REXALL CHEMIST LIMITED offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The apprentice will assist with prescription preparation and dispensing, provide excellent customer service, and respond to patient enquiries. Key responsibilities include supporting the sale of over-the-counter medicines, managing stock, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves administrative duties and ensuring a safe working environment. The apprenticeship will cover customer service, dispensing procedures, stock management, healthcare products, professional communication, confidentiality, health and safety, and pharmacy legislation. Upon completion, learners can progress to Pharmacy Assistant or Dispensing Assistant roles, with potential for further development via a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship.
