About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Sizzling Pub & Grill as a Chef Apprentice. You will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over 15 months. This role involves independent operation of kitchen equipment and working patterns, requiring applicants to be 18 or over for safety reasons. You will prepare, cook, and present food quickly, safely, and efficiently to brand standards, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen. You'll also participate in team meetings, handle guest queries, and manage stock rotation. No prior experience is needed, as comprehensive training will be provided. This is a full-time role with work-based training, including face-to-face sessions and remote calls with a Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks, along with workplace mentorship. Upon completion, you will gain a nationally recognised qualification.
