About the role

An 18-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing by City & Guilds. Alongside your learning, your job role within the practice will entail assisting dentists, sterilising & preparing equipment, reception duties, and supporting patient experience. You'll gain real responsibility from day one, supporting dentists and specialists, assisting with surgery setup, equipment checks, and sterilisation, ensuring documentation and patient records are completed correctly, and promoting excellent standards of care. With experience, you could progress into roles such as Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Practice Manager, or even further qualify as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist. Training is provided by Tempdent, including Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship and Functional Skills if applicable, with a flexible online delivery model and regular progress support.
