About the role
Join The Cakery Leamington Spa Ltd as an Apprentice Cake Maker and Decorator and learn professional cake-making skills. You will work alongside an experienced team to prepare creams, fillings, and ganache, split, fill, and finish cakes. Gain expertise in royal icing, buttercream, and sugarcraft while supporting shop operations through cleaning, stock control, and housekeeping. Duties include preparing orders, stocking the shop, making creams and fillings, building and finishing cakes, creating sugar decorations, serving customers, and maintaining a clean workspace.
No prior experience is needed as all training is provided. This role is ideal for someone creative who enjoys being in a busy, fast-paced environment and is looking for a career in cake making. The company is expanding and offers a supportive and friendly team environment. Upon successful completion, there is a strong possibility of a full-time position.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Food Safety qualification is desired.
