About the role

247 Pharmacy is seeking an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to join their team. This role involves dispensing medication, assisting with over-the-counter sales, checking prescriptions, and maintaining health & safety standards. You will also be responsible for stock rotation, using patient record systems, data entry, and accurate labelling. Strong communication, customer care, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential. The apprenticeship will include training in Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 and Functional Skills if required, with a duration of 1 year and 3 months. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent position and progression to a Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.
