About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join a pharmacy team and gain valuable experience in healthcare. As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, supporting customers, and assisting the pharmacy team. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training provided, covering duties such as assisting customers at the medicines counter, preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision, managing stock and records, using pharmacy systems, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and confidentiality. Key qualities sought include a genuine interest in healthcare, strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No prior pharmacy experience is necessary. Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities for further progression within the sector.
