About the role
ASC Metals Lincoln Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprentice to join their team. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a busy warehousing and manufacturing environment, with responsibilities including assisting in supervising daily warehouse operations, supporting process improvement initiatives, operating warehouse management systems, participating in inventory audits, and overseeing forklift operations. The role also involves preparing metals according to order specifications, moving stock, maintaining a safe working environment, processing stock control records, and communicating with the sales team. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for career progression into team leading and management roles. The apprenticeship is with Lincoln College, with one day of training per month during term time.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above. Strong communication, IT, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Willingness to learn and physical fitness required.
