About the role

A fantastic opportunity has become available at N Family Codsall Day Nursery for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner. This role offers the chance to join an 'Outstanding' setting and become part of a friendly team, learning skills on the job while supporting children's play, learning, and development. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across all nursery rooms and Forest School. Your apprentice training in Early Years will equip you with the skills, experience, and qualifications needed to progress into a qualified educator role. This apprenticeship can lead to either a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, depending on your experience. Career progression opportunities within N are excellent, with potential routes into management or specialized areas. This is a full-time position working a 40-hour week, including off-the-job learning. Daily duties will involve supporting childcare routines, delivering the 'learning through play' ethos, innovating activities, building relationships with parents, and ensuring child welfare and safeguarding. The role involves flexible shift patterns within the nursery's opening hours of 7 am to 7 pm.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths A-C or 4-8. Communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, patience, passion, and positivity.
