About the role
Join Vintage Inns as a Chef Apprentice and become a vital part of our kitchen team. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, focusing on preparing, cooking, and presenting food to brand standards. You will develop strong communication and teamwork skills, and learn to manage kitchen operations, including stock rotation and cleanliness. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a passion for cooking. Upon completion of the 15-month Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will gain a nationally recognised qualification and have opportunities for career progression within Mitchells and Butlers, which operates numerous popular pub and restaurant brands across the UK. The training is work-based, with remote support from a Lifetime Learner Coach and an in-workplace mentor. You will also obtain Functional Skills in English and maths if needed. Benefits include a 33% discount across all Mitchells and Butlers brands.
