About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education. The role involves providing engaging activities that support children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, and assisting with food preparation. Apprentices will follow safeguarding rules, undertake first aid training, and adhere to health and hygiene requirements. Upon completion, you will qualify as a Level 3 Early Years Educator, with potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are essential.
