About the role
Join Caterpillar Day Nursery as a Full-Time Early Years Apprentice and gain valuable experience supporting children's learning and development. You will work towards a recognised qualification in a nurturing and supportive nursery environment. Duties include supporting children's learning and wellbeing through play-based activities, assisting with planning and delivery of engaging activities, creating a safe and stimulating environment, supporting daily routines, building positive relationships, observing and recording progress, promoting safeguarding, and assisting with indoor and outdoor learning. You will develop knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and work towards a recognised Early Years qualification.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Grade C/4 or above, GCSE Maths Grade C/4 or above, and a Level 2 Early Years qualification (Pass). Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, along with initiative, patience, and physical fitness.
