About the role

FAMPHARM LIMITED is seeking an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to join their team in Luton. This role involves dispensing medication, managing over-the-counter sales, checking prescription slips, and maintaining health & safety standards. The apprentice will rotate stock, utilize patient record systems, perform data entry, and ensure accuracy in labelling and dispensing. Collaboration with doctors and other health professionals is key, as is timely completion of apprenticeship work. The apprenticeship offers a Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services Assistant, with opportunities for functional skills training if needed. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a permanent position and progression to a Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.
