About the role
Hummingbirds Daycare is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Childcare Apprentice to join their team. This apprenticeship offers the chance to study towards an Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship (L2/L3 depending on experience). The role involves supporting the learning, development, care, and wellbeing of children by assisting with planning and delivering engaging activities, providing a safe and stimulating environment, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Responsibilities include supporting children's development through play, assisting with documentation of learning, supporting personal care needs, and adhering to safeguarding and health and safety procedures. The apprenticeship will equip the individual with knowledge of child development and effective early years practice. Upon completion, there is a possibility of a full-time role.
