About the role

An exciting opportunity to join a small and friendly team at Safari Kindergarten Ltd in Bury. This role offers immediate start to work alongside a professional and experienced team, learning a range of skills to develop a career in Early Years childcare. You will receive high-quality training and support from the Manager, focusing on ensuring the safety of children, supervising play and meals, supporting development through play, carrying out activities, preparing and feeding children, and maintaining nursery cleanliness. Mandatory training and ongoing professional development will be provided, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding procedures. Successful completion may lead to a permanent contract. The nursery is family-run, focusing on a personal experience for families and providing each child with the best start to their education, utilizing versatile facilities including age-specific playrooms, a library/sensory room, and a large outdoor play area. This is an entry-level role supported by government youth employment schemes, utilizing the Apprenticeship Hiring Payment.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths C/4 or above or equivalent, plus strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, numerical, analytical, logical, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental, patience, and physical fitness skills.
