About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to train in childcare at Wyvern Day Nursery in Fair Oak, Hampshire. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in providing all aspects of care for young children under supervision, including washing, changing, and feeding. You will be responsible for creating a warm, friendly, and stimulating environment that promotes emotional, social, and educational development. Key duties include acting as a key worker for a small group of children, observing and planning for their needs, assisting with their personal and emotional development, and ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all children. You will also be expected to adhere to nursery policies and procedures and complete all assigned apprenticeship work. This role offers a pathway to potentially progress to a full-time position and further training upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English grade 4 or C, Desired GCSE Maths grade 4 or C. Organisation skills, Logical thinking, Team working ability, Creativity, Initiative, Non-judgemental attitude, Patience.
