About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in warehousing, stores, purchasing and supply chain operations. As a Warehouse Apprentice at DIRECT AIR & PIPEWORK LTD, you will provide day-to-day support to our Service and Installation departments while developing practical skills and gaining experience across the wider business. You will spend time working within different areas of the company to gain a solid all-round understanding of our operations, the products and equipment we supply, and how our departments work together to deliver an excellent service to our customers. Duties include receiving and inspecting goods, managing stock, picking and packing orders, preparing job boxes, assisting with stock control and purchasing, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Physical fitness.
