About the role

Dinnington Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to join their team. This role involves dispensing medication, managing over-the-counter sales, and maintaining patient records. Key responsibilities include checking prescription slips, adhering to health and safety protocols, managing stock rotation, and accurately entering data related to medication. The apprentice will also be involved in labelling and dispensing, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail. Collaboration within a team and liaison with healthcare professionals are essential. The apprenticeship includes completion of assigned coursework on time. Upon successful completion, there is a potential for a permanent position and progression to a Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.
