About the role

This role will provide efficient and reliable chairside support to clinicians while ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Day-to-day Dental Nurse duties may include welcoming patients, assisting with appointment scheduling, handling basic patient enquiries professionally, preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, and maintaining infection control to CQC standards. You will assist clinicians during treatments, accurately update patient records, and support patients' comfort and overall dental experience. Responsibilities also include monitoring and managing stock, equipment, and surgery readiness, maintaining clean and safe clinical areas, and upholding patient privacy. You will collaborate with dentists and the wider team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care. Career progression opportunities include becoming a Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Business Manager, Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, or Orthodontic Therapist with supported training and development.
