About the role
Wood St Nursery is seeking an energetic and motivated Apprentice Early Years Practitioner to join their team. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in childcare, supporting the development and learning of children under 5. The role involves learning how to meet children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs through stimulating play and learning opportunities. You will gain experience in supervising children, ensuring their health and wellbeing, and contributing to their development. Key duties include building warm relationships with children, assisting with personal care, encouraging healthy eating, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and adhering to safeguarding procedures. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals who are passionate about childcare, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are eager to learn and develop within a supportive nursery setting.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent. Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills are essential, along with a patient, positive, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude.
