Level 3 Childcare Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. As an apprentice, you will be responsible for providing an excellent range of activities that ensure children learn while having fun, supporting their learning and development through planning and observations, and preparing and maintaining the environment and resources. You will also assist with food preparation and support children's self-help needs. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and adherence to safeguarding rules. The employer, Grove Hall Nursery, is a welcoming and inclusive nursery based in SW12, providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 Practitioner with potential for a permanent position and opportunities in other childcare-related roles like social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or equivalent), communication skills, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental attitude, and patience.
