About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice at GATESHEAD PHARMA LIMITED. You will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, assisting customers and working with the pharmacy team to ensure a safe and efficient service. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support. Key duties include assisting customers at the medicines counter, preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision, handling stock, processing prescriptions using pharmacy systems, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality. We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in healthcare, strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No previous pharmacy experience is required as full training will be provided.
