About the role

Harling Wood Stud is seeking an Equine Groom Apprentice to join their team. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of yard duties, including mucking out, feeding, grooming, tack cleaning, and show preparation. The role also includes opportunities for lunging, long reining, and potentially riding for the right candidate. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 are desired, alongside strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, and teamwork skills. A passion for horses and physical fitness are essential. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is a possibility of a permanent position and progression to a Level 3 Senior Groom qualification. Please note, accommodation is not provided, so candidates must be able to commute to the stud.
