About the role
Start your career as an Apprentice Baker at North's Bakery, a family-run business renowned for its artisan skills and fresh daily products. You will learn from expert bakers, preparing doughs, operating bakery equipment safely under supervision, and monitoring baking processes. The role involves adhering to strict food safety standards, assisting with product finishing, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting stock control. You'll also follow production schedules, assist with customer orders, and learn core baking techniques such as fermentation, shaping, proving, and baking. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your passion for baking and grow within a supportive team environment. The role is night shifts only and requires physical fitness.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, numeracy, teamwork, initiative, physical fitness, passion for baking, and ability to follow directions.
