About the role
Join Cedars Inn (Barnstaple) as an Apprentice Chef and embark on a culinary journey within Greene King Core Hotels. This role offers hands-on experience in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food to meet customer expectations. You will be responsible for maintaining stringent hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring timely delivery of meals. The apprenticeship includes comprehensive work-based training with Lifetime Training, including face-to-face sessions and remote coaching. You will gain Functional Skills in English and Maths if needed, and receive regular reviews with your learner coach and line manager. As part of the Chef Academy, you'll have opportunities for further development and potential career progression within Greene King's extensive network of pubs, restaurants, and hotels.
