About the role
Habonim Nursery in Prestwich is seeking a Childcare Apprentice to join their friendly team. This is an immediate start opportunity for someone passionate about developing a career in Early Years. The apprentice will work alongside experienced professionals, learning all aspects of childcare, including ensuring children's safety, supervising play and meals, supporting development through play, preparing and feeding children, maintaining nursery cleanliness, and adhering to safeguarding procedures. Comprehensive training will be provided, including mandatory sessions and ongoing professional development. The apprenticeship is for an Early Years Practitioner Level 2 and requires attendance at college one day a month.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organizational, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, numerical, analytical, logical, teamwork, creative, initiative, non-judgmental, patient, and physically fit.
