About the role
Are you passionate about working with children? Partou Nurseries is looking for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their Footprints Day Nursery in Manchester. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to train as an Early Years Practitioner while earning a professional qualification. You will observe childcare workers, learn about child development, and gain experience in planning, record-keeping, and safeguarding. The role involves supporting children's health, safety, and wellbeing, and delivering activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The apprenticeship includes on-the-job training and 20% off-the-job learning towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, including functional skills in maths and English if required. Upon completion, apprentices can progress to Level 3 pathways.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above, strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience.
