About the role

Join Arxada as a Production Planning Apprentice and gain hands-on experience in production planning, inventory, logistics, and supply chain operations. You will support the Supply Chain team at the Huddersfield site, assisting with daily production planning activities, SAP transactions, inventory management, stock monitoring, and warehouse replenishment. The role also involves coordinating transport, shipments, and material movement, supporting raw material checks, and assisting with data analysis, forecasting, reporting, and KPI monitoring. You will collaborate with plant teams, customer service, purchasing, and logistics to resolve operational issues and participate in continuous improvement projects, including OMP implementation. This apprenticeship offers structured training towards a Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner qualification, developing knowledge of supply chain processes, planning systems, and business operations. This is a talent planning role for the future, with potential for continued development and permanent positions upon successful completion.

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSE's including Maths and English at grade 4/C or above. Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, administration, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, teamwork, initiative, and patience.
