Junior Operations Coordinator Apprentice

About the role

SEKO LOGISTICS (LONDON) LIMITED is seeking a curious, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Junior Operations Coordinator Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the world of Supply Chain & Logistics, gain hands-on experience, and build valuable skills supported by an experienced team. The apprentice will be responsible for managing and overseeing shipments for assigned accounts, including charging, costing, arranging movement of goods, and ensuring timely customs clearances and deliveries. Key tasks involve managing the full supply chain process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, accurately transposing customs declaration information, meeting KPIs, corresponding with government agencies, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of import regulations. The role also requires building strong relationships with customs authorities, arranging associated paperwork, ensuring import quotas and regulations are met, costing jobs for profitability, and managing deadlines and negotiations.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-8. Excellent communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.
