About the role

Start your rewarding care career with ARMSCARE, supporting residents in person-centred care homes. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, nationally recognised training, and the skills to make a real difference. You will develop communication skills by engaging with clients, learn to support personal care while promoting dignity, and build practical skills in meal preparation and medication routines under supervision. You'll also support clients in activities, learn to carry out routine health checks, recognise and report concerns, and maintain accurate care records.

Entry requirements

  • Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Compassionate, Willing to learn, Flexibility. Must be a UK resident or have lived in the UK or EU for the last three years for apprenticeship eligibility. Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
