About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Chef at The Church Mouse in Chester Le Street. As part of Vintage Inns, you'll work in a charming rural pub environment. The role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting food to brand standards, ensuring kitchen cleanliness, and handling guest queries. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. You will work towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over 15 months, gaining a nationally recognized qualification through work-based training, supported by a Lifetime Learner Coach and an in-house mentor. Functional Skills in English and maths will also be covered if needed. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.
