About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant at KYK HEALTHCARE LTD, based at Abram Pharmacy. The role involves a variety of essential tasks, including dispensing medication to patients, managing over-the-counter sales, checking and monitoring prescription slips, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. You will be responsible for stock rotation, using patient record systems, and accurate data entry relating to medications. Strong communication and teamwork skills are crucial as you will liaunt with doctors, surgeries, and other health professionals. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and a patient, non-judgmental approach. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship and a permanent position within the organisation.
