About the role
MEC COM LIMITED is seeking an Engineering Fitter Apprentice to join their team at Units 15 A-C Airfield Industrial Estate, Hixon. This is a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship opportunity, focusing on mechanical fitting and assembly. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience in assembling and fitting mechanical components, reading technical drawings, using various tools, and carrying out maintenance and inspections. The role also involves assisting with machinery installation and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The apprenticeship is delivered over 33 months, with the apprentice attending In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge 2.5 days a week for the first 20 months. Successful completion may lead to a full-time position.
